The services we provide include skilled nursing care, occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech therapy and specialized wound care. Our skilled nursing care, therapy and wound care are available to you, or your loved one, seven days a week.
The providers of our skilled nursing care also work closely with physicians who make daily rounds to oversee the quality of care and to administer our exceptional cardiac care program. That collaboration means that personalized rehab plans are effectively implemented by our staff of qualified care givers while skilled nursing care is likewise skillfully administered for the benefit of our residents who require long-term nursing. We are ideally located only a block away from Vista Medical Center-East.
Amenities and Activities
You don’t have to leave Pavilion of Waukegan nursing home to find things to do. Indoors, we have an activity room, dining room, therapy room and family room. The schedule is always full of opportunities to create, stimulate the mind and socialize. For instance, we have Bingo and other games. Our Lunch Bunch is a big hit with residents. We offer arts and crafts, exercise programs and singing for the musically inclined. We also have a salon onsite so residents can look and feel their best.
What is a home without great food? Dining at Pavilion of Waukegan is a highly anticipated experience, both for the camaraderie and the culinary excellence. Our dietician works with the kitchen staff to provide meals that are delicious and nutritious.
When residents do head outdoors, they don’t have to go far. We have an exquisitely landscaped private backyard and patio where residents can visit with friends and family or simply enjoy the fresh air. The staff at Pavilion of Waukegan also schedules shopping trips and other excursions.
Residents live in comfort in our well-appointed private and semi-private rooms, which include flat screen televisions, wireless internet access and a dedicated phone line.
