Pavilion of Waukegan
More, much more than just a nursing home, Pavilion of Waukegan offers premier skilled nursing care and therapy, as well as a family environment that gives our facility a home-away-from-home appeal in the midst of a mature neighborhood that is rich with opportunities for social interaction and a wide range of activities. The front door opens into a city business district, with choices for dining, including a bakery only a couple blocks away. And yet, we’re only a mile away from a Lake County Forest Preserve and the Illinois Beach Nature Preserve at Lake Michigan.
Health care – the first priority.
As a nursing home, Pavilion of Waukegan provides unparalleled quality of skilled nursing care, including a full range of long-term nursing and short-term rehabilitation that has earned us a 4-Star rating from Medicare. With a consistent patient-focused approach, Pavilion of Waukegan is also recognized by US. News and World Report as one of the best nursing homes of 2015.
The services we provide include skilled nursing care, occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech therapy and specialized wound care. Our skilled nursing care, therapy and wound care are available to you, or your loved one, seven days a week.
The providers of our skilled nursing care also work closely with physicians who make daily rounds to oversee the quality of care and to administer our exceptional cardiac care program. That collaboration means that personalized rehab plans are effectively implemented by our staff of qualified care givers while skilled nursing care is likewise skillfully administered for the benefit of our residents who require long-term nursing. We are ideally located only a block away from Vista Medical Center-East.
